What it does

Archer launched Archer Evolv Foundation and Archer Evolv Workplace on Sep 14, 2026. The press release says both are in production with customers. An AI Operator is a governed agent built for one GRC job inside Archer — reading regulatory text, scoring a vendor, drafting a finding or watching for disruption — and each is identity-bound, scope-constrained to defined records and actions, supervised by a named human and audit-emitting, writing every action back to Archer as a timestamped record. Evolv Workplace is the marketplace where customers select and assign operators; Evolv Foundation is the shared layer (Archer cites hundreds of purpose-built models carried over from its Compliance.ai acquisition; the press release said 492 and the product page has said 526 — treat the count as a vendor figure). The first operators Archer lists include domain onboarding (maps processes to risks to controls), control generation and verification, AI guardrail conformance testing, reportable loss/incident event review, controls assurance (effectiveness, cadence and evidence checks) and record and asset hygiene. The Sep 2026 release says dozens of operators are live across Foundation, Audit, Third-Party Risk, IT Risk and Operational Risk, targeting 200+ by end of 2026 (vendor roadmap). The Evolv Workplace FAQ on the product page currently says Compliance is available today, Foundation is the underlying layer, and every other domain shown is planned, not yet delivered. The 'ARCHER EVOLV' product is TX-RAMP Level 2 certified (TX1958687).
