What it does

Co-Brain's Legal Agent handles recurring contract requests for in-house legal teams. Per Co-Brain's product page it automatically detects contract type, jurisdiction, language and parties; applies the team's approved clauses, fallback positions and negotiation standards to every contract; marks each deviating clause with the reasoning and page reference from the playbook; and generates playbook-compliant, negotiation-ready revisions with tracked changes for the lawyer to accept, reject or edit. It also answers routine legal questions from sales, marketing and procurement from the playbook, involving legal only when needed, and works inside Outlook, Teams and Word. A table view extracts defined data points (clauses, deadlines, values) across hundreds of contracts with source references for due diligence and compliance audits. Co-Brain also markets RFP, Questionnaire and Knowledge agents on the same platform (not reviewed in detail here). Co-Brain describes itself as hosted in Europe, GDPR-compliant and 'Made in Germany', with its main office in Oldenburg (Co-Brain GmbH, Escherweg 1, 26121 Oldenburg, Germany).
