What it does

Expenzing is a Mumbai-based source-to-pay, accounts-payable and travel-and-expense SaaS vendor built for Indian enterprises. Its FinCat suite has three parts. AI Smart Scan (vision AI) turns invoices, e-invoices and scans into posting-ready data. The Autonomous APA AI Scrutinizer then acts as a 'digital controller': it runs over 20 vendor-compliance, invoice, arithmetic and anomaly checks, gives each invoice a confidence score, passes clean invoices straight through and routes risky exceptions to a human with evidence attached. Expense claims can likewise clear automatically, while specialised Fraud Control Agents scan every receipt for fake vendor logos, doctored receipts and arithmetic inconsistencies. CFO's Buddy is a conversational layer for questions over live voucher data (assistant, not agent). The platform sits in front of existing ERPs and approval matrices. Expenzing says it handles Indian tax compliance (GST/TDS), prepaid provisioning and IND AS 116 reporting, and that the company is ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II and 'CERT-In certified' with India-only data localisation.
