What it does
HCL AppScan RapidFix is sold by HCLSoftware, the software division of Noida-headquartered HCLTech. HCLSoftware's launch release (Noida, Apr 30, 2025) says RapidFix was built in collaboration with Pixee and has two agentic components, AI-powered auto-triage and auto-fix, relying on the deterministic open-source Codemodder framework. The product page says the triage step uses source-code context and an LLM to review each SAST finding's accuracy and severity, pre-filter false positives and explain recommendations with code snippets. Fixes can be applied with one click using deterministic code changes, with AI assistance for new languages, and RapidFix runs in the background scanning repositories and pull requests while engineers or AI copilots code. It is part of the HCL AppScan application-security portfolio. Pricing is not published.
