What it does
Keelvar is an AI-native sourcing optimisation and autonomous sourcing vendor founded in Cork in 2012. Kai, its AI orchestrator, sits across the platform: a user describes what they need, Kai picks the right sourcing agent and hands off to it to run the full event end to end (intake, event creation, supplier selection, award). Named agents include a Sourcing agent, an RFI Agent that generates the RFI question set and response settings from a prompt, and an Optimal Close agent that uses machine learning to set bid duration and auto-close rules. Kai can also build optimisation scenarios from plain language and route users to events, rates or agents. On the Autonomous Sourcing page, prebuilt category agents handle intake, supplier recommendation, event creation, multi-round bidding and award/reporting for tactical and tail spend; 'your team sets the rules, the agent applies them every time', and intake can be triggered without human input.
