What it does

Lisse is a Tokyo legal-AI company founded by a lawyer. Its LeCHECK service offers AI contract review for Japanese corporate legal teams. On August 21, 2026 Lisse added an AI agent that 'reproduces a legal professional's contract-review flow' as a Microsoft Word add-in. When a contract is opened in Word, the agent works through the review steps in sequence: it checks risks, proposes amended clause text, drafts comments and runs a format check. The legal reviewer checks and decides on each suggestion and applies it to the document with a click, instead of typing edits and comments by hand. Lisse says it has also started a pilot that covers the flow from intake to review (not covered by this listing). Note: Bengo4.com's CloudSign Review announced a Word AI agent on Sep 24, 2026 with near-identical wording. The two may share technology; that relationship is not verified, so it is not listed separately. Pricing is not published on the pages checked. Pages are in Japanese.
