What it does
WideAngle AI SOC (launched May 20, 2026) is part of NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS's WideAngle managed security services. Customers send three types of logs (endpoint, network and authentication) and security alerts to Microsoft Sentinel. NTT's in-house AI Agent ('AI Advisor') checks the incidents in Sentinel on a regular cycle, runs cross-log correlation analysis that NTT says previously took analysts one to two hours, and returns an analysis report to Sentinel. Based on the agent's results, Sentinel applies automatic responses using NTT's own SOAR playbooks (managed SOAR), built from its security operations experience. NTT security specialists support customers with questions about results. NTT says it will widen the scope of automatic response over time. The service is aimed at Japanese enterprises without in-house SOC skills; it is a managed service on Microsoft Sentinel rather than standalone software. Timing claims are the vendor's. Pricing is not published (contact NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS sales).
