What it does
Workato positions its Agentic offering as enterprise AI agents that 'blend reasoning, action, and orchestration' on top of its iPaaS. Per Workato's docs, Agent Studio lets teams build and deploy interactive AI agents called genies without code; genies 'dynamically perform actions and call workflows' and execute pre-defined skills toward a goal. Each genie combines an LLM and job description (persona, instructions, constraints), a chat interface (Slack, Teams or Workato GO), a knowledge base (policies, FAQs, company data) and skills that take action in connected apps, built from Workato workflows and recipes. Workato also offers prebuilt Workato Genies with proven skills for specific business functions (for example an IT genie), agent orchestration, an AI gateway and enterprise MCP servers, and AIRO, described as a multi-agent system. Genies are available in Workato's US, EU, AU, SG and JP data centres. It is a general-purpose agent platform rather than a compliance-specific product.
