What it does
Paladin is Opal Security's AI agent for access governance. Opal said Paladin became generally available for cloud customers in August 2026. A Paladin agent can be assigned as a reviewer: for each access request it gathers context from Opal's access graph and connected systems (Notion, Confluence and Slack are used as guidance only), weighs the requester, the asset, the stated need and alternatives, and then approves, denies or escalates, recording its reasoning. Its actions are limited by the agent's assigned role. It is opt-in, has a monitor mode, and also supports access reviews.
