Vendor? Get your “Listed on Agent Index” badge
This listing is an agent platform with security integrations, not a dedicated application-security product. It is in the Code security category because the vendor’s own docs show a concrete scanner or vulnerability-fix workflow (for example Snyk, Sentry or Dependabot). Compare dedicated AppSec listings on the AI code security agents table.
What it does
StackHawk publicly launched Wingman on September 15, 2026. Wingman installs into AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex and Antigravity are named) as a plugin and skills. It scans automatically at session start, after commits and when the agent finishes responding, or on request, sending real HTTP requests at the running app (local, dev, test or prod) to test 150+ vulnerability types, including SQL injection, XSS, sensitive data exposure, remote code execution, broken access control and business-logic flaws. The coding agent then decides whether each finding is real and fixable, writes the fix in the working tree as a normal git diff, and Wingman rescans to confirm the vulnerability is gone, tying each test to a commit. In approve mode the developer approves each edit; in auto mode they review the diff. Scan traffic stays on the developer's machine; findings and app profiles go to StackHawk's platform, not source code. A Scale plan adds attack-surface discovery and org-wide coverage. Result figures on the page are vendor claims.
